Sixties Sunshine

Sixties Sunshine

Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a quick ink blended card using the Sixties Sunshine 3in1 Layering Stencil Set from Altenew.

I started by ink blending the petals for the flowers, this is done with stencils 1 and 2. I used 22 ink colours, a bright pink and turquoise. I blended in a diagonal pattern starting with the pink at the top and blue at the bottom, where they meet they create a purple shade. When blending through stencil two I flipped the colour order and used blue at the top and pink at the bottom.

To colour the centres of the flowers I used stencil 3 along with some yellow and lime inks, I added a soft blend to give the illusion of shade on the centres. I trimmed the floral panel to measure 4" by 5.5" and added black and gold inky splatters. I set this aside to dry while I worked on the sentiment.

I used the Far Out Phrases die set, choosing the "Peace & Love" sentiments. I cut the base shadow layer from purple cardstock and the top detail layer from black cardstock.  Once the floral panel was dry I adhered it to an A2 cardbase. I then added the die cut sentiments with foam tape for added dimension.
