Hello 2024
Hello & Happy 2024.
I hope the new year has begun well & you are settling back into a routine after all the festivities. It was quiet here as my husband was down with a tummy bug and myself with a sinus infection! The boys still had fun and plenty of time to play with their presents from Santa.
It’s taken me a few days to get back into some sort of routine since seeing in the New Year, but here I am with a fun clean & simple New Year card.
I don’t buy much from Lawn Fawn. I love their stuff, but I am just not a ‘cute critter’ crafter. But every so often something stands out to me. Like one of their newest stencils, Heart Wreath Stencils.
I love hearts and I find them really versatile within crafting and card making along with the usual Valentine’s they are great for Weddings and Anniversary. But in general too, like I have used today with the 2024 and hello from Concord & 9th Calendar Stamp Set.
I used Parsley, Honeysuckle and Cranberry to ink the two layer stencil. The stencil is super easy to line up. Lawn Fawn have etched the non ink part into each of the stencils so you can see the full design when inking both parts. To get the Cranberry dots, I simply used a fine blending brush from Waffle Flower and was sure to use a darker ink after inking the hearts.
I’m super excited to see what crafty goodness comes out this year and to share more inspiration with you.
