You're A Catch!

You're A Catch!

Hey there, Terri here! I am so excited to be able to share a card using my new favourite interactive die set, Give It A Whirl Die.

To begin with I stamped my chosen images from the Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set onto 80lb super smooth card and coloured with my alcohol markers. As this is a scene changing card I needed to stamp everything twice, once for the first circle and then again for the second circle. I then used the Butterfly Kisses Die Set to cut the images.

I cut all of the elements from Give It A Whirl Die and Give It A Whirl Scalloped Add-On and added some ink blended grass and sky to both layers of the interactive elements and then adhered my images. My card shows a Fox catching a Butterfly in his net, so in the second scene the butterfly is in the net. I made sure to match the placement of all of the images acroos both pieces so that the picture flows when you move it.

TOP TIP -  If adding die cut images, make sure to use the thinest card possible, the bulkier it is the more the mechanisum can get stuck. I deally you want to stamp direct onto the circular pieces and colour. To help things move a little better I added lots of baby powder and turned the mechanisum several times to train it.

I covered an A2 card blank with some plaid paper and then added the interactive element to the centre of the card. Using Henry's ABCs Dies I cut the word CATCH twice, once from pink and once from black. I adhered them together with a slight drop shadow.   I then stamped the sub sentiment onto a die cut banner using Henry's Jr's ABCs Stamp Set. I adhered both sentiment parts to the card before adding some die cut clouds and butterflies. Lastly I gave the sentiment some sparkle with glitter glue.

I had so much fun with this card and can't wait to create another really soon.
