Flying By To Say...
Hey there, Terri here! I am super excited to share todays card with you. It features those adorable mice from Lawn Fawn, this time flying round on paper aeroplanes.
I started by stamping all of the images from the Just Plane Awesome Stamp Set onto 80lb Neenah Solar Crest cardstock using alcohol friendly ink. I then used my alcohol markers to add colour and finished with some white gel pen highlights. I then cut the images using the Just Plane Awesome Dies.
To create the background I took a 4.25" by 5.5" piece of 110lb Neenah Solar Crest cardstock and using the Cloudy Stencil added a colourful sky. I used blending brushes and distress oxide inks in the following colours Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, Salavged Patina and Broken China. I then added some water splatters and blotted with kitchen paper.
I cut the ink blended sky using a Scalloped Rectangle Stackable and added it to an A2 card base using foam pads. I chose a sentiment from the Just Plane Awesome Stamp Set and stamped into onto a white die cut banner using black ink. I adhered this in the bottom right. Lastly it was time to create the scene by adding all of the mice, aeroplanes and trails.
I am so happy with this card, the colours are beautiful and the fun playful scene is too cute, I'm going to have a hard time giving it away.
