You Octopi My Thoughts
Hi There, I hope you are well. Today I am sharing a Punny card using the Lawn Fawn Ocean Shell-fie stamp set. I had so much fun colouring the images in this set, I used alcohol markers and a white gel pen to add in the little details.
To create the background I use the Ocean Waves Stencil. This stencil set is fantastic as the the top and bottom of each stencil act as the mask to one another. This allowed me to ink an are and then cover it with the mask before inking the next wave. It makes the process so much easier and gives perfect results.
I used distress oxide inks on Neenah Solar crest 80lb card. Once all of the background was ink blended I flicked some water and some inky splatters to add detail to the sea and ocean floor.
I cut the stamped and coloured images using the Coordinating Ocean Shell-fie die set. I cut the ink blended background using a Stitched rectangle die.
I stamped and heat embossed my chosen sentiment in white at the bottom of the inked panel. I used wet adhesive to add all of the images and built my scene. I then added the panel to an A2 note card and finishd with some glossy accents to make bubbles in the sea.
I am so happy with how the card came together, it's bright, fun and has a punny sentiment! Wha more could you want?
