Last Years Christmas Stocking

Jen here and today I this years installment of my Last Christmas series where I used images from last years releases before all the new ones come out to remind you to check the archives in the store for some stamps you may have missed at the time.

I decided to use the Anita Jeram image Getting Ready to make the three cards I am sharing today.

I started by stamping and colouring in the image 3 times using the same colour pallette of Red and Green. I smudged on one so ended up fussy cutting it out around the top edge so I could still use it.

For two cards I trimmed down the panels and then mounted onto MFT 'Keep me in Stitches' paper in matching colours, but you can use any patterned paper pad that matches in the background or even a plain coloured card stock.

I added some sketch detail around the panels and then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment before cutting around it and mounting onto the card.

For the fussy cut image I used the snowfall paper from MFT 'Holly Jolly' paper pad to help create a simple scene but i could have used other options here like ink blending or an embossing folder.

I added the sentiment to the corner and it was complete.
