Thanks and Good Bye!
I am very sad to tell you this is my last post as a DT member for Seven Hills Crafts. It was always a pleasure to work with Tara. All the fun companies to choose from (all my favourite stamp companies in one shop) and such an amazing and talented team. But you know the world is crazy right now and so is my job (I am a teacher). There is not enough time in my days for crafting. That’s the reason I decided to step down from the DT.
And to say thank you for the great three years I have been on the team I made some Thank You cards for my last post.
I started by creating some backgrounds by ink blending some Distress Oxide on my card stock. For the colours I went fro a warmer colour combo with pink, orange and yellow. One with the colder colours like turquoise, violet and blue and one a a rainbow scheme.
Then I chose panels from matching card stock and die cut a square window. Also I die cut Waffle Flower’s Magic Flower Border, twice from black and once from white card stock.I adhered it to the back of my panel behind the window to achieve a big contrast to the ink blended background.
For the sentiment I chose to die cut Thanks from Concord and 9th Fabulous Phrases. And then I assembled the cards.
You may see me in future around here doing some Guest DT posts if needed. I can’t say goodbye for good and I hope times will get better.
And of course I’d like to thank YOU for all your sweet comments you left here on the blog.
