Thanks So Much

Thanks So Much

Hey there, Terri here! Today I am making a start on all of the Thank You cards that we need after the festive season. I thought it would be a good idea to go for a design that can be batch made and doesn't use stamping or colouring.

I started with the background stencilling using the Lots Of Hearts Background Stencils. I stencilled onto 110lb Bristol cardstock. I decided to use 3 colours of distress oxide inks, For the first stencil I used Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade and Salvaged Patina, making sure to overlap each colour as I went. I then removed the stnecil and placed the second stencil from te set and blended using Picked Raaspberry, Mustard Seed and Peacock feathers. I let the ink sit for 5 mins and then added a dustig of Perfect Pearls mica powder for added shimmer.

Next I die cut the Giant Thanks So Much Die from both Black card and Diamond Glitter card. I adhered them together using the black as a drop shadow layer. Next I die cut the stencilled background using the largest of the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I adhered this to a piece of balck card measuring 4" by 5.25" and then adhered to a white A2 card blank. I then added the die cut sentiment using foam pads.
