Pick A Pattern

Pick A Pattern

Hello & Happy Thursday.

I am back this week, with you guessed it, more Concord & 9th. There is something I love about this brand of products, maybe it has something to do with how well they work together. Today I am sharing a couple more cards using Pick A Pattern stamp set.

I love pattern from simple, to more complex and I think this stamp set covers a little of both. Although they have designed these patterns to be repeated, I haven’t used them in that way yet. Today I have used them as a focal point or to accentuate a focal point on two clean & simple cards.

My first card I used the layering floral pattern. I started by stamping the block in Mushroom ink. I used my stamping tool to ensure I could repeat stamp as necessary being a more solid stamp.

I then layered the floral detail, stamping in honeysuckle. The stamp is easy to layer and the tiny dots are easy to line up too. They come as an individual stamp.

The sentiment is from Brighter Days and I have used Oceanside card stock as my base card.

For my second card today I used the polka dot pattern. I stamped it in Sorbet ink vertical to the side of my white mat layer.

I’ve embellished the card with two butterflies from Bold Butterflies stamp set and die cut with the coordinating Bold Butterflies Dies. The sentiment is also from Bold Butterflies and I just partially stamped the Thank you section. I’ve mounted this layer onto a Sorbet card stock base.

That’s all from me this week.
