Today I am sharing a thank you card thats all about die cutting, I used Altenew's Craft a flower lily die and a cover die to create a striking floral card.
To colour the flowers I used red sunset ink cubes, golden sunset mini ink cube set and the summer afternoon ink pads, which I ink blended on to Neenah Solar crest cardstock. I then die cut all of the elements. I then adhered all of the layers using wet glue.
I created the background using the Circle quilt cover die which I adhered to my card blank and splattered with gold paint using the metallic watercolor 14 pan set. I then added some gold thread and foam tape to the reverse of the floral elements and poped them onto the card base. I stamped the sentiment using best sentiments stamp and Obsidian pigment ink pad. Cut around them leaving a little white border and popped them onto the card with foam tape.
I love making card that maily use die cuts, they give a very differnt look. These Craft a Flower die cuts can be coloured in so many ways to give you different effects, why not try spray inks, water colours or alcohol markers.
