3 Ways With Big Confetti Tag Die

3 Ways With Big Confetti Tag Die

Hey there, Terri here today. I am sharing 3 ways to use the Big Confetti Tag Die Set. I recently recieved this die set and wanted to explore different ways to use it.

Shaker Tag

I started by taping the two tage dies from the Big Confetti Tag Die Set together with some washi tape, I then cut it 8 times from white cardstock. I glued all 8 layers together to give me a tick tage frame.

I then used the large tagdie to cut some Acetate, I adhered this to the layered tag frame using strong double sided tape. I cut 1 more tag frame and ink blended using Distress Oxide ink pads. I added this on top of the acetate.

For the base of the shaker I ink blended in the samw pattern as on the frame. I then stamped an image from the Meadow Reflections Stamp Set. I added some sequins and glitter to the frame and then added the backing with strong tape.

Lantern

I used the two tage dies from the Big Confetti Tag Die Set to cut 4 tag frames, I ink blended in the same way as on the shaker tag. I added some vellum to the reverse of each tag frame and stamped some images from the Meadow Reflections Stamp Set on to the vellum.

I added a large brad into the hole at the top of the tags and then made some braces so that I could attach all of the pieces together. To do this I cut strips of card that were 3/4" wide and scored them in half. I then added double sided tape to them and joined all of the tags to create a square lantern.

Bunting

I used the Big Confetti Tag Die Set to cut 8 small tags, I used one of the small circle dies to cut a hole in each in order to thread them later. I ink blended all of tags and added inky splatters in black and white.

I then used the Brick Rosette Stencil Set and some glitter stencil paste to add some detail to each of the tags. While this was drying I used some of the confetti dies to cut some glitter cardstock. I also cut my chosen sentiment from black and silver glitter card using the Brush Alpha Die Set. I adheres the two layers with a slight drop shadow.

Once the glitter paste was dry I set about adding all of the confetti pieces and letter. Lastly I threaded some bakers twine through the tags and hung it on my mantle.
