All the Bats

Jen here and today I have made a pair of colourful cards using the latest Anita Jeram release from Colorado Crafts. I decided to use the super cute Hang in There stamp set which features some adorable bats and wanted to show you that you can use these images for non halloween cards.

I started by stamping and colouring the bats on Transotype Copic Colouring paper (new in store) which is one of my fave products for colouring with alcohol markers and I am so happy Tara has it in store for you all now.

I restamped them using Versafine Clair Nocture ink as usual and then cut one of the bats out. There are matching dies available for this set.

For the smaller bat I took the Batty sentiment and lined it up in my stamp positioner so that it looked like the Bat was hanging from the sentiment before trimming down the panel. For the second card I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock with the versafine clair and trimmed down the panel.

I selected a couple of colourful papers from my MFT pads in autumnal colours ... sorry out of stock but I have added some alternatives to the products section for you and added them to card bases.

I stuck the panels onto the bases and the decided they needed a little bling so I used some double sided tape and black superfine glitter to make some fake glitter washi tape (I filled in the gaps with a black marker) for some extra interest. Love how they turned out.
