So Very Proud of You
Jen here and today I am sharing a different way to use the larger images from stamp sets with an off the edge technique. Its a great way to maximise those stamp sets.
I am using the Proud of You stamp set from 3C Anita Jeram which has a larger main image with some matching sentiments. By stamping off the edge of the card base you can come up with some new designs.
I started by stamping the image from the set over the bottom edge of a piece of A2 card stock before colouring in with alcohol markers. If you are unsure where you want it to go you can stamp on a larger piece of card and then cut it down to the right size after stamping.
Once coloured I trimmed down the panel a little (mainly as I didnt stamp it quite low enough before adding some doodling around the remaining edge.
I finished it off with the sentiment from the same set and then mounted it onto a white card base. I just love how it turned out... expect to see more cards like this as I think the big & bold images will be perfect.
