Beyond Amazing
Happy Floral Friday!
It might be no surprise, but I couldn’t resist adding some of the Amy Tangerine Altenew Collaboration Collection to my stash. The designs are right up my street AND new colours, yes please!
Those that know me well, know that I have an ink obsession! I love colour and I always love to try different brands of ink. The Summer Sunrise and Ocean Dreams really appealed to me with them containing all the colours of the rainbow and more.
These inks did not disappoint, I swatched them quickly with one of the hear stamps from A Fresh Start and they stamped beautifully.
You'll see on this swatch that I stamped the Silver Lining twice, I wasnt sure if I'd cleaned my stamp properly after stamping Easy Breezy as it seemed to have a greenidh tint to the grey.
But I had cleaned my stamp, it does have a slight greenish tint to the grey making it a warmer colour. I also compared it with the Silver Sage from the Frosted Foliage Trailblazing Collection, which is stamped above. After this swatch test and matching up some Copic Colours, I got to making my card.
Here I stamped the paint splat image from A Fresh Start in Tickled Pink, Easy Breezy, Lemonade Stand and Be Grateful. I then stamped, coloured and cut out the flowers and chose the Beyond Amazing sentiment from Hug Life.
The result, a bright and bold card.
