With the spring turning into summer.... (aside of the cool, wet and windy spell we have at the moment), I wanted to use the beautiful wildflower frame from the Hero Arts collaboration stamp set called You Make a Difference. This first card shows how you can just ink part of the frame to use in a linear pattern for a small notecard...

I have stamped the images in a grey waterproof ink then watercoloured the flowers and leaves with a fine paintbrush. The frame is cut using an MFT die which has two extra pieces stacked underneath for some subtle dimension to highlight the wildflowers.

For the second card I have used the whole frame and embossed it in white on grey card which looked gorgeous as is but I then decided to add colour with Prismacolour pencils too..

Although it's subtle I really love the colour on the dark card. There are lots of lovely sentiments to go inside the frame.... this one is also embossed in white and tucks into the space just nicely.

This set is a great one for different stamping and colouring techniques. The image can also be used in part or full frame design and of course can be paired with any sentiment from your stamp collection too :)
