Baroque Opulence

Baroque Opulence

Good Morning, Terri here! Today I am sharing a very opulent card using Altenew's newst inks. These new inks are a new formula and come in larger round pads or mini cubes.

I started by stenciling the Beautiful Baroque Layering Stencil Set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using the Woodland Escape Fresh Dye Ink Set and the Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink Set. I then added some gold perfect pearls over the ink whilst it was still damp, this gives a beautiful shimmer.

I then embossed a piece of brown cardstock using the coordinating Beautiful Baroque 3D Embossing Folder. I also embossed the stenciled panel and then trimmed it to a point to look like a banner/flag. I added this to the brown embossed panel and then to an A2 card base which I had ink blended using the Forsted Foiliage ink set.

Next I started work on my sentiment, I used the Sweet Sentiments Hot Foil Dies along with Altenew's Enchanted Gold Hot Foil  to foil the word "Celebrate". I then used the coordinating Sweet Sentiment Die Set to cut it. I also cut 3 more blanks to enable me to stack the sentiment. Lastly I added a few gold sequins to the lower part of the card for extra opulence and balance.
