I was so happy to see the Houseplants die set in the latest MFT card Kit release so they had to come and live with me along with the perches dies of course. I've paired them with the Letter Message Board die from Sugar Pea Designs for a fun card..

I've cut the leaves and stems from different shades of green card and the pots from coloured or patterned card/paper. The set is designed so it is easy to attach the leaves behind the pots and you can easily change up the pairings if you want to. I added a few more leaves to some by cutting extra pieces and adding more stems and leaves behind the pots. You can see below how I attached twine to this plant to make it into a hanging basket and how I added the extra stems and leaves too.

I made another pot plant by cutting a set of leaves and turning them into a small succulent and added more leaves to the Aspidistra by cutting up an extra set and attaching them behind the others

I think the letterboard die is a fun way to make your sentiment/wording shine and the white slatted background is a great setting for the plants..... I just love these dies :)
