Oh Happy Day

Oh Happy Day

Hi, Terri here! I am super excited to be sharing my first Concord & 9th Turnabout card, I've laways loved the turnabout stmaps but neveer had them in my crafty stash until I treated myself at Christmas.

I started by using the All-in-one Turnabout jig  to align the To the point Turnabout Stamp in my stamping platform. If you've never used them before Concord & 9th have some great videos on their youtube channel. Once aligned I used 4 ink colours, one for each turn...Green, Aqua,Coral and Grey. It's so exciting watching it take shape, it's like crafty magic!

Next I started on the sentiment. I used the Happy Thanks Die set, I chose the "oh happy day" die as this card could then be used for numerous occasions. The sentiment has 2 dies but actually cut in three parts. I cut the shadow layer from grey cardstock and the top layer from Aqua and Coral. I actually ended up cutting from Croal 3 times and layering them up. I then used Clear embossing powder to heat emboss the coral die cut letter to give a fun shiny look.

I added the cactus background to an A2 notecard and the added the sentiment using foam pads. Lastly I added a few Enamel dots to embellish the card. If you don't have the colour you need, you can colour a light enamel dot with alcohol markers to colour match your project.

I am super happy with how this card turned out and can't wait to create more turnabout cards in the future. Thank you for stopping by.
