Plant A Succulent - Hugs Card
Hey there, Terri here! Today I am sharing a super cute card featuring lots of Lawn Fawn products.
I started by die cutting several pots and plants from the Plant A Succulent Die Set, I chose to use bright fun colours, in fact I went overboard and have several left for another card. I then used Henry's ABCs Dies to cut the word "hey". I cut once from black card and once from black foam, I adhered them togther to give a thicker look.
Next I cut a scalloped rectangle from white card and piece of the pink Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow Paper Pad. I cut the gingham piece in half and adhered it to the white piece. I then added this to an A2 cardbase which had a piece of turquoise paper on the front.
I added the die cut "hey" to the top part of the card and then placed the succulents in the middle section. I added foam pads to the middle plant to raise it a bit. I added a sentiment on to a white baner using the Long Distance Hugs Stamp Set, I also used one of the smaller sentiments from the set to add a sub sentiment stamped directly onto the card.
Lastly I added some white gel pen higlights to the plants, pots and die cut letter. I love how this adds some extra detail and brings flat coloured die cuts to life.
