You Color My World
Today I am sharing a card that features a bold background and contempory style flowers.
I started by creating the background for the card by covering a 4 inch by 5.25 inch panel of card with the Painted Dots Washi Tape from Altenew. I used a bone folder to make sure the wahi tape was full adhered before trimming off any overhanging excess.
To stamp the floral images I used the Colorful Soul Stamp Set from Altenew, I choose to use 3 peachy tones for the flower and black for the centre to coordinate with the backgroun dots.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and used the Colorful Soul Die Set to cut out all of the elements, I love that this set has dies for the sentimetns too.
To arrange the floral elements on the background, I took inspiration from the Tri-fold insert that comes with the stamp set, it acts like a recipie card with serving suggestions. I added everything onto an A2 note card which I ink blended in a peachy/coral tone.
