Breakthrough Butterflies

As we've got MFT back in stock, we added the latest card kit to store as butterflies are always popular imagery for cards.  I really loved the Breakthrough Butterfly die so I've made 3 cards with it today to show its versatility.

Card 1 - I die cut the butterfly but kept all the pieces in place then coloured it with watercolour burst powders for fun effect.  I used some press-n-seal to take all the "bits" out of the wings but keeping them in place for card 2, and then just popped the die cut up on foam tape for depth leaving the card below white.  Finished with a sentiment from The Greetery.

Card 2 - takes the same die cut but this time glued flat onto the base card at the opposite angle in white with blue shading on the base card.  I then filled each hole on the wings with a dab of glue, let it dry tacky, then pressed the "bits" on my press-n-seal back into place.  Easy peasy 241.  Finished with another sentiment from All Occassion Script Sentiments.

Card 3 - I wanted a different look so die cut from thin double-sided sheet glue and rather than having a full card front, I trimmed around the butterflies to have them flying free but still joined (not sure I like the join lines now but hey-ho!)  I then simply applied some rainbow foil over the top of the glue sheet.  It's quite hard to photograph as some butterflies look black but you can see the colours on the bottom one.

NEWS FROM THE STORE

It's a big week, as it always is when Lawn Fawn have a product release.  As always we will have the release ready to go at 7am on Thursday morning.  it's always busy for the first 2 or 3 hours and we start to pack as soon as orders come in, but we can never get everyone's orders out the same day.  We'll do our very best - you can opt for 24 hour tracking but please note this does not mean we will back your order quicker - we pack in order of arrival - it just means (hopefully) Royal Mail will deliver it the day after we ship it.

Mama Elephant has shipped this weekend so there is a chance we will have it for the 15th but given its the day before the Lawn Fawn release we might not have it loaded as soon as it arrives but we'll do it as fast as we can.

Greetery restocks have been delayed due to manufacturing delays on their end so it will be another couple of weeks before we get the latest release and any restocks you've requested back in stock.
