Flowers for you

Flowers for you

Today I wanted to sahre a card showing another way for you to achieve a new look with your craft products.  Altenew's Craft a flower die sets allow you to create a realistic layered floral, but you can use them in so many ways...

You can ink blend, ink spray, alcohol colour or cut from coloured card, Today I am ink blending with added inky spatters and free hand detailing. I sarted by ink blending several pieces of Neenah card using the yellow inks from Pocketful of sunshine mini ink cube set and some greens from Green valley mini ink cube set and brown from the Delectable delights oval set.  I then die cut all of the layers for the Craft a flower anemone.

Next I added some inky splatters using some brown ink from the Delectable delights oval set and some watered down white paint. Once dry I then added sketched detail with a black fine liner pen, I adhered the layers using a wet glue. Adding these details gives a mixed media look to the flowers.

I added a stenciled backgroung with theWild leopard stencil and some pink ink. I then stamped a sentiment with theMega label love stamp set and added a setchy frame with a fine liner pen.
