Cut, Colour, Stick.. it's as easy as 1,2,3

Have you tried Altenew's Craft-a-Flower die sets yet? I love to add flowers to my cards, sometimes I need flowers in a hurry and that's where this technique come in.

I start by adding a piece of Double Sided Adhesive Sheets to the reverse of a sheet of Neenah cardstock. I then place all of the dies from my chosen Craft-A-Flower die set on top and secure with low tack tape. For this card I chose the Craft-A-Flower Primrose die set, I run it through my de cutting machine and it cuts but keeps the pieces in place as the thickness means that the backing paper isn't cut.

I then add colour using Altenew's Artist Markers Set H and Summer Afternoon Artist Markers. I keep the colouring simple, just backand forth strokes to cover the die cut pieces. The packaging gives a guide as to which layers need to be darker or lighter so I always keep this right next to me.

Once all of the layers are coloured, I simply peel and stick. It's so quick and easy. Adding these flowers to your projects gives dimention and interst. This particular set even includes a sentiment die too. A few inky splatters, a piece of twine and the card is finished.

Will you be giving these die sets a try?
