Floral Layered Die Cutting

Floral Layered Die Cutting

Hey there Terri here, today I am sharing a card using layered dies to create my focal image.

I started by choosing the Craft-A-Flower Butterfly Bush Die Set and 3 shades of purple cardstock, I cut each layer using the guide on the packaging to show which layer reuired lighter or darker card. I then adhered them together. I then chose 3 shades of green card and cut the leaves in the same way. I used a scrape of brown to cut the stem.

I embossed a piecce of white card using the Motif Tile 3D Embossing Folder and then trimmed it to measure 52 by 3.75", I added some mettalic thread around the lower half and then adhered the panel to an A2 card base using foam tape.

I stamped a sentiment using the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set and trimmed it to have a small white border. I then added the flower to the card and placed the sentiment in the lower left corner.

I love how quickly you can make  beautiful card using layered dies, thanks for stopping by today, be sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration.
