Paper Bouquet

Paper Bouquet

Morning all!

I'm back today with a card project featuring the lovely Paper Bouquet set from the latest Concord & 9th release.

Concord & 9th is really coming up with some great floral layering dies at the moment, and this one is no different!

It's even got an interactive feature if you use the scalloped wrap die, as there's a tab to hold the wrap closed that can be opened to reveal a message inside the bouquet of flowers.

But what really appealed to me was the ability to create a layered bouquet quickly and customise it with little details like the twine, bow, and tag.

For anyone who holds onto their cardstock scraps like me, there are lots of possibilities for adding bursts of colour.

The bouquet is also a great size for fitting inside frame dies, including the Hoopla Oval dies from The Greetery.

To continue the embroidery look of my card, I created a pale rose cardbase using the Quilted Backdrop die from Lawn Fawn.

Then I pulled some cardstock colours together to create my paper bouquet using Concord & 9th cardstock as well as other scraps in my stash.

Where the twine wraps around the bouquet, all the leafy dies feature this rectangular shape, making it super easy to layer up the die-cuts so they're all positioned correctly.

There was just enough room inside the frame to add a sentiment from the coordinating Paper Bouquet stamp set, and the card was done!

Until next time, happy crafting!
