I'm back a day late, so it gave me the chance to finish adding the new Christmas release from Hero Arts and to give me a chance to play with some of it!  Hero always do fabulous dies for Christmas and I use them every year - this year they have 4 fab bauble dies and and couple of wreaths and I've combined them to make wreathy baubles!

I started with the snowflake medallion die and die cut it from some shimmery holographic cardstock (which will be available on Thursday) and die cut the hanging part of the joy bauble so I could hang the medallion like a bauble on my card front.

The sentiment is from Polar Greetings from last years' Hero release - I wanted something bold but simple, and just embossed it on the same coloured card with silver powder.

For the second card, I did the same things, just varying the background colour, and where I popped the sentiment.  For this one I used the Greenery Medallion die.

I really love the shimmery effect paired with simple colours and simple sentiments - you could knock out a full set of these in no time!

NEWS FROM THE STORE

It's going to be a BIG week in store this week!

• The winter Catalogue from Hero Arts is now in store;

• We have the MUCH anticipated Christmas release from Lawn Fawn on Thursday - we spent most of the afternoon yesterday unboxing and checking it all, so we can start to add it in the evenings this week to ensure we're ready to launch when they do!

• MFT have their Christmas release tomorrow, but it is not going to be here in time for launch as it hasn't yet left the USA and today is a bank holiday there.  The estimate is currently for it to arrive on Wednesday.   We'll get it live as soon as we can after it arrives;

• The current release from Sugar Pea Designs, Waffle Flower Crafts and Reverse Confetti are due to be delivered this week - we will get them in store as soon as we can but it may not be this week.   Lawn Fawn is our most popular release and as we are still working solo there is only so much we can do at the same time;

• Concord and 9th have a new release on Wednesday - our order is in but they NEVER ship to retailers until a few days after they release on their own site.  So with transit times, that usually means we are about a week to 10 days behind (but so is everyone else!)   The Color Collection was due with this release but it has been delayed again and they currently don't have a date when they expect to receive the items we ordered a couple of months ago.   I'll let you know when I know anything!

• The Mama Elephant Christmas release will be on the 15th September and we already have that ready to go so it will be on release day.

• Altenew, as always, have several releases coming out this month - we have pre-ordered them and are awaiting a shipping date.

• We pre-ordered the colour from Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink along with restocks of the other colours we are out of, again, we are still waiting for a shipping date as they are on a reduced staff due to covid.

Things may also be a little delayed as sadly I have a funeral to attend tomorrow, Rick will still be here as the numbers are restricted, but it will take a few hours out of my already busy schedule this week.  I will do my very best to catch up but we do have a LOT of orders to process from this weekend so please be patient if shipping is slower than normal during this busy period.
