Lil' Tags A Plenty and Store News

I do love a cute tag for Christmas so was really excited that Mama Elephant made their Lil Tag Friends, which was their giveaway stamp in September, available for sale and I've used it this weekend....

I stamped a whole A4 sheet of card with the tags then brought them down for an evening of simple water-colouring using my zig markers - they're simple images to colour quickly so perfect for mass production as you can see with my card and tags.

The matching dies are pefect as they cut the tag shape but also cut around the characters hands so you can get them to hold the little icons they come with, or other items - like die cut letters which makes them perfect for personalised gift tags and cards!

For my card I had the characters spell out "MERRY" and then added Christmas underneath using the same die - MFT's Connected - its a perfect sized alphabet for cards and rarely leaves my craft desk as I use it so often.   I used 5 different characters for the card and added some plaid paper behind them for some Christmas colour with a blue line to tie in the background colour on the tags.

For the remaining images I decided to make fun layered tags - great for bigger gifts, but the tags themselves are the perfect size for small stocking fillers which I often find gift tags are just too big to attach to.   I used an older Mama E gift tag die set which is oos, but they have LOTS of other tag dies which you can find here or simply browse our tags product section for all brands.
