Merry, Bright & Joyful!

Hello & Happy Wednesday!
It's Bev here with you today and I have been getting into the Christmas spirit and trying to get a head start on my Christmas cards for once ;)
As usual I have gone for my quick clean and simple style and dusted off some Christmas stamps I never got round to using last year *gasp*, Concord & 9th Merry & Bright stamp set.
This is such a cute little set and I love both of the sentiment options and little accent stamps.
On my first card I decided to use the 'Merry & Bright' sentiment and simply accented it with the berries and holly. This is such a simple and quick design for those times where you might be running short on time and need a few more to send out before the last posting dates!
You could easily glam it up with some sparkle or glitter to the berries, but personally I do love a clean and simple design ;)
For my last card today I wanted to recreate the look of foilage boughs across my card to frame my sentiment strip. As you can see from my card I had a little play with the 'May Your Season Be' sentiment.
In the set it comes as an arched sentiment like I have stamped it on my first card. But I wanted to make it work on a landscape card and I had already determined the size of the sentiment strip as to stamping the foliage onto the white panel.
At first I tried straightening the sentiment, but this didnt work. So I then placed it on my block and created a wavey line and 'ta-dah', it works and looks good!
How are you all getting on with Christmas cards? Have you even thought about Christmas yet?! No matter where you are in preparation, I hope I have given you some inspiration :)
