Bella's Tangled Kitty

Bella's Tangled Kitty

This post should actually have been on Sunday, I did the video first whilst there was daylight, (and yes I know the light is rubbish but bear with me - video is new and I'll get there!) but then I went out for a belated birthday brunch and the bottomless nature of the prosecco meant I wasn't really up to finishing it off when I got back - sorry!

Anyhow, due to the sad news from Stamping Bella about Emily tragic passing, there really was only one brand I could reach to colour this weekend.  I've been a Bella fan for as long as I've been stamping and still have all my original Bella-babe stamps.   So for this post I thought I'd show how starting with the lights on the kitty and applying glossy accents over the top makes it easier to colour in the kitty without worrying about the colour bleeding and stopping the lights from sparkling.

I used Hero Arts Ornament Infinity Die to stamp him onto but you could just use a shaped die or stamp direct to a card.   Once the lights were coloured and covered I let it dry then coloured the kitty in ginger tom vibes (check our Facebook/Insta or Tiktok feeds for the video)  I added a sentiment from MFT's Holiday Cheers but you could find lots of appropriate sentiments in any of your Christmas sets.   To finish I just added a little blue marker around the edge of the die cut and popped a bow to "hang" it from the layered up base card.

NEWS FROM THE STORE

The Greetery's latest release should hopefully ship today but we're waiting on one outstanding item to be delivered to them before they ship.   We should therefore have it early next week.

We're behind on a couple of other releases this month - sorry - doing our best to catch up - watch this space!

Royal Mail Strikes

These are back on again I'm afraid :(   They didn't manage to resolve them earlier this month.   There are no collections or deliveries tomorrow or Friday, and Wednesday and Thursday next week :(

You can find more informaiton here https://www.royalmail.com/latest-news  This is the first information on that page  "National strike action dates formally notified by the CWU

The CWU has formally notified Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Thursday 24, Friday 25 and Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2022.

Royal Mail has well-developed contingency plans, but we cannot fully replace the daily efforts of our frontline workforce. We’ll be doing what we can to keep services running, but we are sorry this planned strike action is likely to cause you some disruption."
