Curio Attic Ornaments

Curio Attic Ornaments

I know you're all waiting for the new Christmas release from The Greetery - and we're working onit now - will be online by tomorrow.   However I recently did a feature in Die Cutting Essentials (Issue 94) featuring the smaller Curio Attic Ornaments from The Greetery in shades of pink, blue and red.  I ran the ornaments through my die cut machine several times from each shade of card and popped all the bits in a tupperware with different compartments so I could keep all the bits for each shape together and I cut far more than I needed as I wasn't sure staight away which colours would go on which card.   So the bonus is I now have loads of ornaments left to play with to make more cards for Christmas and I can tweek the colours beyond the one in the magazine.   So here's the first card I've made with my leftovers.

I took 3 ornaments, added some black twine to string them onto a panel of green shimmer card.  I used different thichness of foam pads to get the 3 at different heights.  The sentiment is my current favourite - its just so small and perfectly formed - is from Boughs and Holly stamp from Concord and 9th.

Here's a little peek of the other 5 cards in the magazine - you can find all the details of what was used in the issue (Septembers mag).  It really is a very versatile die set and pairs so well with other items from the Greetery.   I'm excited to mix and match them with their larger cousins in the new release too!

Happy Crafting
