Tree of Gifts
Well I'm back with another Christmas card idea today...... I've used three older sets to make this pile of pressies that looks rather like a Christmas tree don't you think?....
I've used Mama Elephant's Colour Block Gifts and MFT's Celebrate You to stamp out a selection of boxes in four shades of green ink. Now this card has evolved because I first stamped them as a tree shape but then decided to cut them out and pile them up on the card front instead so I've used scissors to do this, although the Celebrate You stamp set does have a coordinating die set available here. I added extra details and colour to some of the patterned gifts with gel pens and then had fun arranging them into a rough tree shape....
I added a sparkly star at the top to match the glittery gel pen details and added a sentiment from Sentimental Christmas.... love the fun style of font in this set :) You could of course use contemporary colours instead for a different coloured tree or even try draping some glittery twine around the pile of presents as well to look like tinsel.
