Festive Gift Tags

Christmas is just a few days away. Today I have an idea for you for some quick to make gift tags! Actually, I have two versions of the tags: one which takes no time at all and one that takes a little bit longer! I used Reverse Confetti’s Holiday Bough and Lanterns for all the tags.
I started both versions by stamping and heat embossing the images twice. I used Lawn Fawn’s Rose gold and Hero Arts’ Platinum embossing powder.
For the simpler version (the one with the rose gold embossing) I just glued down the images on the tags. The tag die is from Mama Elephant’s Tags a Lot set.
Vellum is hard to adhere because you can see the glue through. The trick is to add a tiny bit of glue on the backside of the lines.
I stamped and heat embossed in the same rose gold a sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Jingle Greetings.
For the second version I added a little bit of colouring. You can get a different look from your stamps when you stamp on vellum and colour I with alcohol markers on the back. You can only do one layer and you have to be fast or it will get streaky. Then again I heat embossed the same sentiments on the tags in platinum embossing powder.
