Beary Happy Holidays
Hey there, Terri here. Today I am sharing a winter holidays card. I am mixing the newly released Winter Wonderland Window Die with an older stamp set, Beary Happy Holidays stamp set.
I started by stamping the skating Bear onto white shimmer card and heat embossed it. I then used pencils to add some colour to the bear, skates and scarf. I then used the coordinating Beary Happy Holidays Die to cut the image.
To create the card front I used the Winter Wonderland Window Die, I cut the inner snowflake section from a teal colour and the outter dotted arched window from a dusty purple cardstock. I ink blended and added some white inky splatters.
I added some Double Sided Adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of Vellum. I then cut the snowflakes and added them around the window. I then ink blended using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide and added some stickles.
I added some stickles to a piece of grey card to act as the ground. I then covered an A2 cardbase with a piece of patterened paper, added the floor and then added the frames using foam pads. I placed the bear front and centre, he's adorable.
Lastly I stamped a sentiment from the Beary Happy Holidays onto a piece of white card using black ink. I then cut the sentiment into a banner shape and added it to the bottom of the card with foam tape.
