Happy Llamadays!

Happy Llamadays!

Hi stampers, Anni here!

Christmas is just a few weeks away. Have you made all the Christmas cards you want to mail out?

I am still making Christmas cards and I still have so many stamps that I want to use. My Favorite Things’ Happy Llamadays is one of the sets I bought last year and haven’t inked up yet. Although I think it is so adorable. I love non-traditional images for Christmas.

I started by stamping the images in black ink and coloured them using pencils. There are coordinating dies available to cut out the images.

For the background I die cut a tag from Lil’Inker Designs’ Anytime Tags. There are some holes you can cut out, too. But left them out because I didn’t think tht would go well with the look of my card.

I added some ink blending to the tag. I left the middle of the tag light and got very dark when I came to the edges.

For the llama to stand out I die cut one of My Favorite Things’ Grounding Elements. I chose white cardstock to make them look like snow. But you can use green for grass or brown for any kind of ground and use them all year long.

I thought the card needed a little more colour so I die cut Reverse Confetti’s Snowflake Trio from red cardstock. From the same cardstock I cut a stripe and embossed the sentiment in white.

Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty weekend.

Anni
