Oh What Fun!
Hi Terri here! Today I am sharing two Christmas cards made using the Giant Outlined Oh What Fun Die. I chose a mix of silver glitter card, vellum, lilac card and baby blue patterened paper.
I started by cutting the Giant Outlined Oh What Fun Die from lilac and silver glitter card. This then gave me the idea to create two cards from the die cut pieces, a twofer as I like to call it. I popped out all of the piece, being extra careful not to lose any pieces. I then adhered the lilac outline sentiment frame to some vellum and then the Silver Glitter frame to another piece of vellum.
I next started to paper piece the letter, adding the silver glitter letters to the lilac frame and lilac letters to the silver glitter frame. I used a tape runner as I didn't want any glue leaking out on to the vellum.
Next I cut two white outlines and adhered them together, I then added these behind the vellum on both versions of the sentiment. I then cut two pieces of Knit Picky Winter 12x12 paper and adhered them to white A2 card blanks. I then added the die cut sentimetns on top.
To decorate the cards I stamped out some of the cute little mice from the Mice On Ice Stamp Set and coloured them with alcohol markers. I used the Mice On Ice Die Set to cut the images. I also added some white gel pen highlights. I adhered the mice to the cards using silicone glue for added dimension and then added some pearls to embelish the cards.
I hope you've enjoyed today's post, I apologise for the poor photo quality, we've had rain upon rain here.
