Autumn Sunflower

Autumn Sunflower

Hi, Terri here! Today I am sharing a card using the Dancing Sunflower Stamp Set, along with it's coordinating Die Set and Layering Stencil Set. I have chosen to use an Autumnnal colour palette to give a more muted seasonal look.

I started by stamping one of the Sunflowers in Espresso Crisp Dye Ink onto Neeenah Solar Crest 80lb cardstock. I then used the coordinating Layering Stencil Set to add colour to the image. Next I used Harvest Fall Crisp Dye Inks for the petals, Nature Wonders Crisp Dye Inks for the leaves and Espresso Crisp Dye Ink for the centre of the flower. I used small ink blending brushes to blend the inks.

I die cut the Sunflower using the Dancing Sunflower Die Set and set it aside while I worked on the background and sentiment. I embossed a panel of white card using the Daisy Tiles 3D Embossing folder. I then added this to a Green A2 ntoecard. I then white heat embossed a sentiment onto a piece of the green card. I added the die cut flower to the card using foam tape and then added the sentiment in the upper right. Finally I added a few enamel dots.
