Fluttering By
Hello!
I'm here today with another butterfly card! Those who know me well, know I am a sucker for a butterfly stamp or product.
When I saw the recent release from Newton's Nook, the Monarchs clear stamp set and Monarchs dies AND the Butterflies Stencil Set had to come live with me!
These products do not disappoint. I don't own a lot of Newton's Nook products, weird as I love cats, but I've never been overly into cute critters. I dabble a little here and there, but haven't commited fully to the cute, haha! But using these and being impressed with the quality and price I will be looking at buying more poducts ;)
Anyway, back to my card! First I decided to ink up the Butterflies Stencil Set to create an all over background. This is the first time I recall using a layered stencil set too and it is SO easy to line up.
I started with the solid butterfly using Altenew Pink Diamond ink and then added the detail using Altenew Rubellite ink from the Cherry Blossom collection.
I then stamped, coloured and die cut the butterfly from the Monarchs clear stamp set and added the cute sentiment. The set comes with some lovely mix and match sentiments too covering different occasions.
That's all I have to share with you today & I will try not to use these every week, haha!
Thanks for stopping by today :) Crafty Hugs Bev x
