Creating with restrictions

Hey crafty friends, today I am sharing something a little different. as crafters we tend to have a LOT of products at our finger tips and it can get overwhelming choosing which to use and what direction to take a project, so I thought I'd try working with restrictions and see what happened, buckle in...
I choose to use no stamps, stencils or embossing folder (these are my usual go to items) Instead I chose the All about you word die set and Mix and Match Frames die set from Altenew.
I chose two colours of cardstock, a scrap of vellum and some plain sequins. Working on an A2 note card in white I cut the Mix and Match frames from my coloured card and layered them up, the interesting pattern add the texture that I'd normally rely on an embossing folder for. I then cut the All about you word dies from white card, vellum and the green I use for the frames. When layering the sentiments I found that the green straight on to the white was to stark so slipped in somevellum over the white layer to diffuse it slightly.
I am really please with how this card turned out, will you try working with restircted products in the future?
