Hello, Hey, Hi

Hello, Hey, Hi

Hello, Hey, Hi!

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine safely, the weather is beautiful and I spent some time pottering in the garden and enjoying the flowers and I've seen the odd butterfly too.

I am super lucky to have crafty friends who take note of my ever growing wish list and I recieved some lovely crafty goodies for my birthday last week. One of which is the recently released MFT Brilliant Butterflies. I am a sucker for butterfly stamps and these went straight to the top of my wish list as soon as I saw them!

This is such a creative set and I love all the mix and match possibilities. It contains six different butterflies with 4 stamps for each butterefly. I have only just scratched the surface of playing with the stamps, but there are probably many more creative ways to use it.

For this first card I used Altenew Red Cosmos ink collection to stamp the solid wings of the butterfly and VersaFine Onyx Black for the detailed wings and butterfly body. I didn't use a stamping tool or positioner to stamp the butterflies, they are really easy to do by eye.

Next I wanted to see how one of the butterflies would turn out by not stamping the top solid wings and just the detailed wings.

I have to say, I love how it turned out and the detail is beautifully ornate, but not over the top. I used Altenew Volcano Lake from the Sea Shore ink collection.

I looked through my sentiment stamps and came across the 'Hello, Hey, Hi' sentiment from MFT Greetings & Salutations. This is the perfect sentiment for me as I use all of the greetings with different friends and it was perfect to pair with the butterflies.

I hope I have given you a few more ideas on how to use this stamp set and I hope these cards will be 'winging' their way to some friends soon!
