Hey & Happy Thursday.

I hope you are all well and have been finding some creative time. I've been trying to squeeze in more creative time each day, mainly to play with all the new goodies I have purchased over the last few months - haha!

One of the stamps that has been that pile waiting to be inked up is the Concord & 9th Paint Swash Turnabout. I love pattern, creating patterns, and the turnabout stamps fascinate me as they are so cleverly created. I think what drew me to this design however is the scope for using it for all occasions and it's not gender specific.

Since the pandemic first hit, I have been sending more friendship cards than ever. As I'd not used the MFT Hey Die either hides face in shame I thought I would combine this with the paint swash pattern.

For this card I only stamped the turnabout once and with the paint swashes being spaced apart well, it was easy to ink them in differnet four different colours. I used Concord & 9th Honeysuckle, Oceanside, Marmalade & Buttercup. The dots and stripes come as individual stamps and I used Mushroom and Dove to stamp these.

The Hey is die cut from Concord & 9th Mushroom and Honeysuckle and the accent Friend sentiment is from Concord & 9th Friendly Hello and adhered using foam adhesive.
