Today I have a set of two cards for you featuring Waffle Flower's Sweet Ice Cream. This set is the perfect summer set with a lot of Ice Cream.

I decided to go with no line colouring once again and watercolour as my medium once again. I love to do no line colouring. You have to stamp with a lighter ink so the lines vanish when your colouring is finished. While colouring I sometimes find it easier to look at the packaging of the stamp to see where the lines exactly are.

The trick is to accentuate the shadows. That can be difficult when you are using watercolours. Then I like to add some details with pencils. With pencils you have way more control.

If you don't have a darker shade of the colour you are using, don't be shy to use grey or brown.

Build up the colour step by step. Remember: you can always add colour but never take colour away.

I was very happy when I realised how well the sweet die from Concord &9th's Orange You Sweet went with my images. In Lawn Fawn's Reveal Wheel Sentiments I found the right words to accompany the die cut.

Then I arranged everything on a scalloped rectangle I die cut using Mama Elephant's Framed Tags: Waverly.
