Rain or Shine - I'll Be There For You
Hey there crafty friends, Terri here! Todays card is a supportive card for a friend who's going through a rough time. The recent April showers promted me to reach for these awesome umbrellas.
I started off by cutting a ton, and I mean a ton of the umbrella components from the Rain or Shine Die Set from pastel cardstock and putting together different colour combinations. When I was happy with how they looked I adhered them together and used the small hearts dies to add some embellishments.
I cut the back ground using the Dotted Moon and Star Backdrop Die from Lawn Fawn. I cut this in white and placed a teal panel behind. I adhered this to a white card blank using foam tape for added height. I then heat embossed a senitment from the Rain or Shine Stamp Set onto a piece of light pink card using Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder.
I placed all of the components onto my card using foam pads. I then added some glitter glue to a few areas for extra detail. This was a super fun card to make, so much so that I made more in other colour ways, like the on below.
