Big Birthday Balloons
Our niece turned 8 this week so I needed a card for her and big balloons and a fun sentiment seemed the perfect match. I used the fab new Balloon Builder die set from MFT and the Love and Cookies die set from The Greetery to make something big, bold and colourful.
I started with the balloons - it's a fun and versatile set as the elements are separate so you can use the "balloon" bit as an oval too. I added the highlights using sparkly white card.
For the sentiment I used the same sparkly white card to make the background and then cut the same die from navy too to create a shadow. The letters themselves I cut from different card in rainbow colours so I can make more with the left over letters by swapping the colours around. You can either poke out the "holes" and leave them black, leave the original card in or set other colours in (like the pink in the first p) so again lots of different looks from the same die.
To add the number I stuck with The Greetery and their Bold Numbers die, cut from the same navy card I used to back the sentiments to tie it all together. I stamped birthday onto the same sparkly card and added a navy matt to finish.
