Simply Make a Wish

I spent my evenings this week working on a magazine commission that used around a thousand different fiddly die pieces, well not quite, but it was complex, so today I wanted to do something much more simple. I opted to play with a single stamp set - the new Make a Wish stamp from The Greetery's new collection and just the primary colours - red, blue and yellow.

I used my new ink collection from Concord and 9th (the cubes will be back in stock today as our delivery is in transit) and started with 4 of the "sparkle" elements using different shades of yellow to create a fun background for the card. I then stamped the make a wish over the top in cranberry and added the sub-sentiments in blueberry.

I thought it needed an extra dose of sparkle so added some stickles to the centres of the sparkle elements to finish.

You could make a full collection of these quickly and easily and wrap them up as a gift.
