I've got a few birthdays coming up this month so thought I'd play with one of the giant birthday dies from Lawn Fawn's latest release.

These dies are greate for making a big bold statement on a card and can make quick cards look really impressive. I've done a simple one to start - simply cutting the die from white card and after popping the waste out, colouring the letters ombre style in blues and greens (like that's a surprise for me lol!) and popping them back in. You could cut several from different coloured card and piece them into each other and make a lot of cards at once. Patterned paper would make a great splash with this die too.

To finish the card I decided it would be fun to contrast the giant sentiment with a few tiny people (and a cat) so stamped and coloured a few of the Tiny Friends before fussy cutting (I didn't want the white to show over the die but you could die cut if you find that easier than scissors) and standing them on the different letters.

We're placing a big restock order or Lawn Fawn today so hopefully if you're waiting on a sell out for the latest release, it will be back in a couple of weeks customs willing (and subject to Lawn Fawn having stock available as they don't have a live ordering system for wholesale so we never know what we can and can't get until they ship!)
