Today I have a set of three small birthday cards for you.

Now and then I look at a stamp set and can't decide which image to use. Then I often make a few cards at once using all the cute images. This happened lately with Reverse Confetti's Ice Cream Social.

I started by die cutting three squares using My Favourite Things' Stitched Mini Scallop Square Stax. Once again I decided to go with no line colouring. So I stamped the images using a very light ink. My favourite medium for no line colouring are pencils. Their tipp is much more sharper than from a alcohol marker or a brush. So it is easier to add details.

There was the perfect sentiment in the Ice Cream Social set for the card with the ice cream. But for the bunny and the bear the sentiments were all a bit too long. I found perfect sentiments for my card design in Mama Elephant's Mini Everyday Messages.

When I assembled the cards I also added in a layer of pink patterned paper to bring in more colour.
