Slimline Florals
Today I am sharing a slimline card, featuring a watercoloured floral design and bold sentiment. I stamped the floral image onto watercolour card using the Courageous You stamp set and Obsidian pigment ink pad.
Using the 36 pan watercolor set I added colour to the flowers and leaves, I used the wet in wet technique and added lots of inky splatters to add texture to the flowers.
On a piece of white card I used the Patchwork kite stencil and some blue ink to blend a background for the floral image to sit on. I fussy cut the floral images and added it to the card using 3D glue gel. I placed some black twine on the card and adhered it in place by adding my sentiment over the ends with foam tape. The sentiments is from the Mega label love stamp set.
