Hellooo, I'm back again and revisiting an older stamp set from Avery Elle called Astronauts, this set has some great sentiments and three different rocket men or ladies.... you cant tell with their space helmets on!! I've used the Constellation die to make a spce scene complete with lots of stars for the background.....

I started by making a space sky on a piece of card using some bright pinks, blues and greens in a few places then came in with the dark blues and purples before using black around the edges. I find it easier to make a larger background then position the scenery die over the area you want and add the constellation dies too so you can cut them all in one pass through the Bigshot. I stamped the moon surface onto a card blank and used a knife cut along the curved edge so I could tuck the space background in behind the moon.

I stamped and coloured the astronauts and the rather cute planet holding a cake, then used scissors to cut them out... dies are available for this set here. I curved one of the greetings on my acrylic block and used it to stamp around the background and then placed the sub sentiment lower down, adding a couple of extra craters from the set to the moon to balance the positioning.
