Chocolates for Mum

With Mother's day next weekend I've gone back to MFT's Box of Chocolates dies to make a card suitable to send that is totally sugar free....
I had the idea of a large box of choccies and with this pretend peak inside, you don't have lots of die-cutting to make one :) As I've said before, this is another die set that you can die cut lots of elements and keep them for future use so some of these chocolates were leftover from my previous card. I started by arranging and attaching the sweet treats in rows on the bottom corner of a card blank and then, using a curved die, I cut away part of a separate card panel. For the coloured contrast piece I glued a piece of patterned paper to cardstock and used the curved die to get that same shape and then used a craft knife to feehand cut the remaining two curves...... I attached it to the curve using glue and foam pads for some dimension.
Before attaching the card panel I added my sentiment using Simply Sentiments from Lawn Fawn and a Concord & 9th alphabet then I adhered it using foam pads near the chocolates and double-sided tape along the straight edges. I love the little sneak peak that curved cutaway gives of those yummy chocolates..... anyone else craving chocolate now!!
Thanks for stopping by, catch you next week :)
