Just Chill
I'm back today and thinking about a lovely relaxing bath again... well on my card that is and this time I've added a cheeky glass of wine too .....
I do love that luxurious bubble bath and this time i've set the scene with a few extra details from the Dry Bar and Serenity Now dienamics sets as well. Lets start with the background though, I used the Wavy Lines stencil and placed that onto the card front then used a handcut negative stencil over the top so I could blend ink through both to achieve the patterned shape. I then lifted the negative stencil, which was just a piece of scrap paper with a random freeform shape cut out of it, so I could add softer ink blending around the edges. This techique creates a spotlight area within the patterned background.
I die cut the pieces, some in coloured card with extra blending added for depth and shading and some in white card which I then coloured with ink or Copics. I kept to a simple colour pallette including adding a black table so the sentiment wouldn't look to stark. I found the ideal sentiment in a very unlikely set but it was the perfect fit and even looks like a piece of bathroom wall art :) It's from Waffleflower's Home Brew stamp set which is currently out of stock but of course you can use the back in stock notification system on the website if it's a set you require or I'm sure there are many other sentiments you could add instead.
